Carbon Neutral Footprint & The Adam Mills Team!
We're really excited to announce that as a company, the Adam Mills Team is now carbon neutral. That means we have taken the time to calculate our carbon footprint (the impact we’re having on our environment just by doing the everyday business of selling real estate). Once we knew what it was, we purchased carbon offsets to neutralize our 2016 emissions.
We chose to offset our emissions with Offsetters, Canada’s leading carbon management solutions provider. Their projects are verified and validated by third parties to ensure that the emission reductions are real, additional and permanent. The projects that we support also provide additional benefits to the communities surrounding them. They are: The Great Bear Forest Carbon Project, Zambia REDD+, and a Cookstove project in Uganda. We’re proud to do business while taking action on climate change.
This process has made us more aware of our environment, and the impact a small business can have. Let’s face it, as a REALTOR, I drive…A LOT. So, supporting green initiatives by neutralizing my emissions means a great deal to me and my family…especially for the future of my kids.

In the meantime, here are a few easy ways you can start making a difference right now:
- Install LED bulbs and/or set your thermostat to an away temperature when you are not at home;
- Use reusable grocery bags, reusable water bottles and reusable food containers;
- Recycle as much Blue, Black and Green Bin stuff as possible;
