February Newsletter Summary:

• January 2013 saw 602 homes sell in Ottawa compared to 682 homes in January 2012.
• The average sale price in January 2013 for a home in Ottawa was $342,458 a slight decrease of 1.8% over January 2012.
• Average “Days on Market” for a listing is currently 55 days in Ottawa.

Despite what you might be hearing in the media, the Ottawa market is presently heating up for what we in the industry believe will be a very strong spring.
