West Ottawa encompasses a number of residential neighbourhoods that include post War architecture as well as more modern suburban layouts.
This area is predominantly residential with small pockets of commercial streets and includes many areas that Ottawa residents would refer to as “the suburbs”.
Overall, this are has seen rapid growth over the last decade and is continuing to attract more residents with its mix of high and low income housing options.
